There is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to playing.

I firmly believe in a ground-up approach to playing trumpet, starting with the basics of airflow, production, and good form to build the foundation for your technical development, removing limiters on your unique musical expression. Through the wisdom of the many amazing mentors and educators I’ve had in my life, I take students of any age or ability level through both classic pedagogical material and uniquely tailored exercises to teach them well-rounded technical skills, musicianship, range, endurance, intonation, dynamic control, style, color, and professional etiquette, as well as some tips and tricks for making difficult passages easier.

*Lessons are taught at my apartment in Evanston. Other locations may be considered if necessary, but will require a cost adjustment depending on location/distance. A 24-hour cancellation notice is required, otherwise payment will still be due for that scheduled lesson, barring emergencies or discretionary extenuating circumstances.
